Behavior changes refer to noticeable shifts in how someone acts, feels, or interacts with others. These changes can be triggered by emotional stress, environmental factors, or developmental stages. In a primary school setting, I once noticed a student who used to be very enthusiastic and talkative suddenly becoming quiet and withdrawn. He stopped participating in group activities and often sat alone during break times. At first, it seemed like he was just tired, but over time it became clear that something was bothering him. Eventually, we learned his parents were going through a separation, which was affecting his mood and behavior. Recognizing these changes helped as teachers we provide support and involve the school counsellor. It taught me that paying attention to how someone behaves differently can be a sign they need help or understanding.

Behaviour changes is when someone starts doing something differently, whether it's a positive or negative change in their actions, habits, or decisions. Identifying changes in behavior usually involves observing changes in responses, activities, or attitudes across time. The situation determines how these changes are detected, and they can be minor or significant.

Behaviour changes is when someone begins to act and interact differently to how they usually would. This could be acting out in aggression, closing themselves off from people and becoming quieter, interacting in an inappropriate way or using bad language and shouting. Sometimes behaviour changes can be positive I have seen this when a child started to act kinder towards other children and less argumentative and aggressive

Behaviour changes can mean a child is acting different from their normal self, acting out, different habits. To recognise these changes you would observe the child and how they act in social interactions with adults and peers and their change in mood and habits. in my placement i noticed a child who was once bubbly and happy and well behaved, turn anxious and aggressive. the child acted up for attention, any he could get, we later found out, he acted for attention because the child had a new sibling at home and they was not adjusting to that change very well

behavioural changes describes the alternating habits that can be due to the environment, family dynamics or changing in influences around a person. This can be recognised in multiple factors such as changes to someone's emotional state, physical health or even alterations on social and communication patterns with others indicating a possible issue or improvement . An example of this might be if we see a child has alternated their behaviour this could indicate potential issues at home, but with recognition and support we see changes to their behaviour and overall wellbeing.

Cultural background can affect a child's emotional development as they may face discrimination and that may make them feel like they do not belong and that they are different. Additional needs can influence a child's social skills as they child may have autism and children who usually have autism have a hard time communicating with others such as keeping eye contact. Biological/genetic factors can affect a child's intellectual and cognitive development as a child with Down Syndrome struggles to comprehend school work and require extra support. Biological/genetic factors can also affect a child's physical health as a child with cystic fibrosis has a build up of thick mucus in various of their organs which leads to shortness of breath.

Behaviour changes mean when a child starts acting differently from how they usually do. You might notice they’re more quiet, clingy, angry, or restless than normal. These changes are often signs that something’s bothering them like stress, tiredness, or a change at home. We recognise them by knowing what’s typical for that child and spotting when things feel “off.”
