The old days people used to immigrate to America. It was a well known place then, where people could make a fresh start. However it wasn't easy. It was really hard for the immigrants to adjust to the new conditions. Some of them had to do many jobs in order to take care of their families. Also, other people did not accept them because they were immigrants, so they had nobody to hang out with. 


My great grandparents had to immigrate to Germany because of economic problems and unemployment. They stayed there for forty years and they had to have two jobs at the same time to support their family. Asylum seekers : someone who leaves their own country , often for political reasons or because of war, and who travels to another country hoping that the government will protect them and allow them to live there.

Refugees: a person who has escaped from their own country for political, religious or economic reasons or because of a war.

1) I don't use the car if it's not necessary. In this way, less gases are trapped in the atmosphere.

2) Large cities can get people to use more effective cars, so air pollution will be reduced.

3) I am not really concerned right now, but I now that if we don't do anything to prevent global warming, this will have a large impact on us. 

4) I usually recycle plastic bottles of water, pieces of paper which have been used and old, useless notebooks.
