I created a teacher toolkit with five categories; academic standards, assessments, differentiated instruction, learning objectives, and lesson planning. These five categories all represent an important aspect of teaching, these are all important steps to ensure you are teaching the correct material, and effectively. These categories all follow the professional practices required for teachers, ensuring that the teacher is understanding the level the students are at, developing a plan to meet them at their level, assessing students, and using professionalism and the ethics teachers are bound to. This toolkit is a collection of resources I have created throughout this course or have been introduced to, having these resources in one space to quickly look back to can help give me better understanding of these concepts and also help support me better implementing these concepts. These resources also give me a clear understanding of how to improve how I am implementing these categories. This resource can benefit my colleagues by giving them access to resources they might not have discovered before and be helpful for job interviews and applications, by helping identify strengths and weaknesses within these categories and resources I can use to build up my strengths, providing continuous reflection, and self-assessments to further improve myself.
