         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Lesson Details: </strong>Sound Revision.<br>In today's lesson, we will cover all of the key objectives relating to sound.<br><br><strong>Key Vocabulary:<br>1) </strong>Vibrations: The back and forth movement of air-particles that make sound<br><br>2) Pitch: This is how high or low the sound being created is. <br><br>3) High pitched: Fast vibrations creating a high sound.<br><br>4) Low pitched: Slow vibrations making a low sound.<br><br>5) Volume: How loud or how soft a sound is.<br><br>6) Loud Volume: Bigger vibrations that make a loud sound.<br><br>7) Quiet volume: Smaller vibrations that make a soft sound.<br><br>9) Pluck: The action one must make to create sound on a stringed instrument.<br><br>10) Hit: The action one must make to create a sound for a percussion instrument like a drum or a xylophone.<br><br>11) Blow: The action one must take to make a sound with a wind instrument.<br><br>12) Decibel (dB): Units of measurement for sound.<br><br>13) Sound Meter/ Decibel meter: an instrument used to measure the volume of sound.<br><br>14) Sound Proof: A surface or room that does not allow sound to travel in or out.<br><br>15) Absorb: A surface that doesn't allow sound to travel through or bounce off.<br><br>16) Echo: When sound bounces off a surface.<br><br>17) Matter: Sound travels through all matter. It travels quickly through the air and slowly through gasses like the air.<br><br>18) Muffle: To make sound quieter by covering your ears.<br><br><strong>Activity: </strong><br>Design another flash card game.</div>]]></description>
