Since I'm making this for my younger cousin, I want it to be more distinct and special to her, so I imprinted a "K" in the middle using a needle tool. Around that, I used a ball ended tool to imprint half spheres. I added a little heart for a little more love!!<3 :)

I will use these molds to help me add detail to both the stand and bowl.

The Bowl

I used the pinch pot method to start this project. After I made a bowl, I started to make the vines that would come up and about my project.

Once I finished the stand, I started to add details. Using rubber molds, I added detailed flowers to the stand by attaching them with slip.

Because the bottom of my bowl wouldn't be visible in the final appearance, I blended in the vines on the bottom to make the vines more adhered and secured to the bowl (to avoid it coming apart like my last project).

My stand is coming along! I'm making my roses different sizes by cutting off some of the outside petals for the smaller sized ones.

The Stand

The base of my stand is just a simple coil design. Starting with this, I will further continue the coil process to make the stand taller

I started adding flowers to the bowl as well. This wasn't part of my plan but I added leaves as well to go along with the floral theme.

This is my final greenware before it gets fired in the kiln for glazing! I'm going to be firing the stand and bowl separate so it will be easier for me to glaze, but will attach them permanently the second time it goes into the kiln. It will look like this.
