I like the amount of realism they put into the story. It's full of very exciting events that really catch your interest. It really puts you in Mark Watney's perspective and what it would feel like to be stranded on a planet, alone.

I really liked how it taught you about the ancient Roman lifestyle, such as the death penalty which can occur to anyone at any age. My only concern is that a random clue is given in the middle of nowhere, but it makes sense later on. I would really recommend this to friends.

While reading,  I noticed how all the characters are so devoted to each other, and you feel understanding, or you can somewhat relate to them.

It puts you through the eyes of Melody who has cerebral palsy. As you learn that people with disabilities ARE still people with thoughts and feelings, you really feel bad for them. I highly recommend this book, because when you've finished reading, your point of view will change and it shows how our society today is so dismissive on the topic.

We follow Ty, a boy from an underwater civilization, as he and his new friend Gemma look for her lost brother. I thought that this book was amazing, and I would recommend it. It is full of action and mystery. It shows the dark future of the effects of Global Warming and a reality where we are forced to retreat into the sea.

I haven't gotten the chance to read this book, although I've read the others. While reading, I connected the story with Star Wars. Both have about the same story line.  The rebels stand up against the tyrannical government. Overall, I think it was a good book.

At first, I was a little hesitant. I didn't get to read it until recently. To my surprise, it was actually a great book. The concept of being alone in the woods with no previous survival experience makes a great story.
