Objective

You will design a poster or infographic about Hermosillo ( or your hometown or a tourist destination in Sonora). The goal is to practice using modals of necessity, obligation, prohibition, advice, and suggestions in real-life contexts.

Instructions

1. Choose a place

   • Select your hometown or a tourist attraction in your state.

   • Think about what visitors should know before going there.

2. Collect information

   • Basic facts: location, main attractions, traditions, food, or activities.

   • Rules or advice for visitors (what they must do, should do, mustn’t do, etc.).

3. Language requirements
   Use at least one example of each type of modal:

   • Necessity/Obligation: Visitors must buy tickets in advance.

   • Prohibition: You mustn’t take photos inside the museum.

   • Advice: You should try the local food.

   • Suggestions: You could visit the main square at night.

4. Design your poster/infographic

   • Include a title and images or drawings.

   • Organize information with sections (e.g., “What to Do,” “What Not to Do,” “Tips”).

   • Make it clear, colorful, and easy to read.

5. Final check and Posting

   • Make sure your poster/infographic has:

     • At least 4 modal sentences (one of each type).

     • Correct grammar and spelling.

     • Post it on this Padlet.
