We automatically knew when coming to shoot out video and taking our images for out digipak and poster that we wanted to use a DSLR camera as the produce high quality images/ video footage. The DSLR cameras are amazing cameras as you can adapt things such as IOS, the aperture, shutter speed and choose exactly how much of the image you want to be in focus, this mean that were totally in control of what we wanted our images to look like and how they ended up. We then decided on a camera and we decide to used a Nikon D850 to film our music video. We chose this camera because the image quality is visually stunning. The camera consist of 45.7 Megapixels, and films in up to 8K.
Therefore, we felt that this would film our video the best and produce the best image quality

Photoshop is a graphic editor designed for windows and MacOS. To edit and adapt my images for my digipak and digipak poster, I decided to use Adobe Photoshop. I picked this software as I am familiar with it and know how to use it, however i learnt anymore things creating my didigpak that I didn't know how to do before which was very useful. I also felt that it consisted of all the tools that I needed to adapt my images. I found that photoshop allowed me to create the images that i envisioned in my head easily once I knew how to use the software and exactly what tools did what. Overall, i felt that photoshop enabled me to create the best possible images for my poster and digipak.

This was the original software that we tried as it was pre downloaded on the Macbooks and we had previous experience with it using it for our opening sequence. We really enjoyed using this software this time around as we knew how to us it properly so it made editing much more simple and easy this time around which was a positive.
Something that we did find useful this time around was the green screen tool which allowed us to add an effect over the top of our footage to make make our video look even more like a tape recording, which we felt really added/complimented the video well.

The majority of my work took place on an Apple Mac computer that we had at school. I also had a mac at home which meant things like imovie which was only a software that was available for apple technologies only I could access at home too, which meant that I had not only class time to edit. I also downloaded and paid for Photoshop so that i could edit at home as well. Overall, I really enjoyed using the backs as I didn't need to learn a new computer software which benefited me, also i felt that the apple macs are much more simple, clear and effective in contrast to windows software.
Also at home I could access all my internet programs I had used at home and also could log into my blogger page from home, this made blogging a whole lot easier.
