He is anti capitalist and he doesn't want the corporations to have such power. He was against the neglect of sharecroppers during the Great Depression and stated that they were the most unprotected groups. His goal included giving tenant farmers financial relief rather than land owners who were seeking to evict and beat farmers. He claimed that while the New Deal was occupied with finding economic solutions, the most vulnerable and morals were abandoned.

He acknowledged that since the elderly were among the first to be fired, then they would not have enough resources to survive the Great Depression. He proposed an act would be passed to give people above the age of 60 $200 to cover their living cost monthly. He is right because it would have given elderly folk more money to help their families.
