attending training sessions with a coaches will reward any trainee, who has participated, between 50 and 80 points, based on activity and participation in the training thread.

✦ royalties

- claiming a song for idols costs 18 points
- if more people claim any part of the same song, the cost will be split between the parties.
- there is a weekly limit for song claiming. three (3) tracks a week for idols
- whenever your song is used, you will gain royalties (will be split equally among authors):

48 points for initial use on a release.
36 points if the song is promoted on at least one music show.
18 points for each show win your song snatches.

leaders and representatives: remember to roll in music shows, where your group participates, whenever you are tagged to do so.

debuted idols can also gain points by having active threads in the music show rooms during promotional periods, as well as winning on a music show.

if they have at least one thread in a music show room during promotion, they will receive 20 points.
two threads with different users will be 40 points, so on and so forth.

✦ how to MC

in order to be an MC on a music show you have to apply via tagging both Tiffany and Seohyun in the character request room, stating which show you want to MC.
one character can only MC in one show.
you cannot have two faceclaims of yours MCing at the same show
you act as an MC on a music show for an indefinite time until you decide it's enough.
your job is to introduce performers and performances, ask questions backstage, interact with the idols, etc.
all performances will be linked, so you will know who comes after whom, how they are dressed, etc.
for this you will receive 50 points salary at the end of the promotion period if you have executed your MC obligations with at least one post during this promotion.

✦ livestreams

- every vlive participant will receive 35 points per stream

- you can rp it with someone, you can do it solo, on your own and god-mod the viewers, you can break into others' vlives if you see them on time. all is fair ;)

*note: if you do the livestream in another room, because this fits your thread/activity - make sure to note it down in the live stream channel room with a brief note, so admins will know and award you your points.

*note: instagram, youtube and tiktok lives also count for the same purpose, pick your media poison of choice.

✦ manager salary

- each sunday, every manager in dsf can roll in the notice room for their weekly wage.

- make sure to tag the admins after rolling, or we will miss your roll

- the formula for salary calculation is

(roll x 0.5) x (10 x coefficient)

- default coefficient is 1

- for example - you roll a 6, you receive (6x0.5) x (10x1) = 30 points, congratulations.

- there is an additional way to earn a bonus - a commission pay, if you will.

- after rolling, you can state every active thread you have had throughout the week, including the room name where the thread is, and your partner(s).

- for each active thread, you get +1 commission coefficient

- for example you have rolled a 6. you post 2 active threads. your salary now equals (6x0.5) x (10x3) = 90 points. congratulations.

- threads can be with idols, trainees, other staff members or a mix of 2 or more of the aforementioned.

✦ how to hold a class

If you are a non-managerial staff of any kind, you can hold a class of your own - no need to be a coach specifically. Still, it is very much expected of coaches to hold regular classes for their pupils - this cashes in directly into their bank account and brings trainees closer to debut.

In order to hold a class, you must

announce the class via email in the email room
in the post - tag admins
tag all trainees and/or idols, eligible for the class - for example, you might want to hold a class for the girls only, or for the older boy trainees, or the younger idols only, or all trainees or all trainees plus all idols. This should be stated in your post.

The post must contain:

the topic of the class - dance, rap, vocal, producing, songwriting, make up, stage presence, etc.
the room where the class will be held
approximate date and time of the class
who is eligible to participate
other general notes, you want to mention to participants.

During the class:

tag everyone eligible at the beginning once again in the pre-stated room, to let them now the class thread is now open
you can choose a variety of methods to "teach"
you can implement a dice roll for every participant to roll, so that they don't all ace like mary sues
you can use videos and other helping materials
you can give them homework and tasks
you can have a certain video/performance in mind, and thus choose who to teach, based on that - please PM Tiffany if you plan this approach
you can use any "pre-debut" or "rehearsal" or "dance/vocal cover" videos out there
you can post them on the daily soul youtube channel - revert back to PMing Tiffany about that.
when you feel the thread is over - tag an admin in the room, to let us know it's final, listing the participants, so we distribute points them and you

- job description
as a part of the staff, they take care of their designated idol artist(s). the manager is the one who conveys the ceo's decisions to the group.
managers work closely with the group, for example if they also have projects in mind, have worked/written any songs they want to include in the album, if they want solo activities, or even special stages.
you name it, the manager is there for them!
managers also makes sure the group is always on schedule to shows, recordings and other events.
in short, a glorified baby sitter.

✦ how classes work

- first wait to be tagged (also check the notice board from time to time).
- when you are tagged by a coach (vocal, rap, choreo) they will let you know the date, time and location the class will be held at. make sure you read their instructions because every coach and every class is different.
- you will likely have to roll the dice to determine your performance in class (rolls will not affect the points you receive for attending class, everyone has good and bad days and not everyone can be perfect!).

types of classes producers can hold include, but are not limited to: music theory, music production, arrangement, songwriting camps, etc.
types of classes bodyguards can hold include, but are not limited to: self-protection, martial arts, slimming/bulking, working out in the gym, personal training, physical therapy, etc.
once an appointment is finished - inform admins like the coaches do
