Connection: Voodoo Dolls are known for being used to harm people, when in fact they're used just as much, if not more, for healing. Believed to be a certain type of "magic" in some cultures, voodoo dolls represent a soulful connection between doll and human or animal.

Connection: A more questionable pseudoscience red flag in which people think that humans are more attractive when in pacts. A realization made popular in an episode of How I Met Your Mother, this observation questioned scientists and it was revealed that this was the case with most of their subjects, they found people in groups initially more attractive.

Connection: Using a famous/attractive actor or actress to sell products is the biggest example of Appealing to Authority. Sofia's involvement in pushing the product is strickly to make the audience see someone of her stature drinking it, the dialogue describing the drink is general statements, not even displaying proper ingredients.

Connection: In the video below, the gentleman describes the different types of Logical Fallacies and how Trump uses them to shift people's thoughts towards something else and away from what he doesn't want to discuss.

Connection: It is believed, that when the sales of ice cream are going up, so is the drowning rates and murder rates. The connection is made by the time of year in which people tend to go swimming and consume ice cream the most. The murder rate increase is due to more drinkers and druggies being out and about during the summer, therefor linking the two.

Connection: The worldwide hum is something unexplained to this day. The thought of it being a government secret test that was heard worldwide is one of the more logical theories, unless you believe in extraterrestrials.

Connection: The Loch Ness Monster is the most famous example of Patternicity. Many photos have been debunked for being poorly lit photos of driftwood or of other animals swimming.

Usually when there's a personal connection on the question at hand, it is best to keep an open mind and not allow emotions to dictate the verdict.

Connection: Many people want to believe in the afterlife and believe that those who are no longer with us are hanging out there. People will use these Ouija boards in efforts to communicate with the dead, should something happen it is most likely due to the fact that someone willed the block to move because they are emotionally hanging on to the thought of life after death, blurring their logical thinking.
