“We Gather as We Recognize the Lord's Hand in our Lives” as I think of this throughout the month I believe the key word is RECOGNIZE. If we are not acknowledging his hand, his blessings, his love we can become very sad very quickly. Elder Renlunds talk gave this quote:
“The consistency of pleas from prophets to reflect on the goodness of God is striking. Our Heavenly Father wants us to recall His and His Beloved Son’s goodness, not for Their own gratification but for the influence such remembrance has on us.”  If our prophets are asking us to focus on this it must be essential. Then as we gain our own gratification of his love for us we can ‘gather’ others to do the same just as is stated in our July theme. Much Love, Gina 🤬

I also find the God's goodness in the lives of others.  As I am strengthened, lifted, inspired and loved by the sweet lives and ministering of those around me, I see His greatness.

I love the emphasis that remembering God's goodness CHANGES us, if we allow it to. It enables to better receive the promptings of the Spirit.  I hope that my remembering and recognizing His hand in my life, it changes how I see others, how I serve, and how I follow in His footsteps.

As well as the ability to ponder and reflect back on times when I knew He was guiding and helping me.
