Nuestros amigos alemanes nos enseñaron la ciudad de Frankfurt, desde tiendas donde regalaban cocacola hasta el último puente por cruzar. Además de la visita guiada, hubo un par de aventuras interesantes, como la búsqueda de una bolsa de ropa por todo Rodgau.
Our german friends shew us Frankfurt's city, since shops with free coke until the last bridge to cross. Besides the tour, there were some interesting adventures, such as the search of a clothes bag.

Al llegar al aeropuerto Alicia y su madre me estaban esperando, estábamos todos muy nerviosos, pero desde el primer momento me trataron como una más en la familia. No he podido tener más suerte con la familia que me ha tocado, son maravillosos.

Hoy nos hemos conocido todos mejor, tanto a los alemanes como a los madrileñismo y hemos hecho actividades en el colegio todos juntos. Les hemos enseñado a bailar sevillanas y hemos hecho diferentes juegos. Cuando se acabo el colegio, fuimos a Seligenstadt. Este es el pueblo medieval y allí comimos y pasamos la mitad de la tarde. Cuando terminamos de conocer el pueblo cogimos un autobús que nos llevo a nuestras casas, nos pusimos los bañadores y fuimos al lago. Nos lo pasamos muy bien.
Today we got to know each other better, both the Germans and the people from Madrid, and we did activities together at school. We taught them how to dance sevillanas and we played different games. When school ended, we went to Seligenstadt. It's a medieval town where we had lunch and spent the rest of the afternoon. After exploring the town, we took a bus that brought us back home, so we put on our swimsuits, and went to the lake. We had a great time.

Colonia me parecio preciosa, no me esperaba que la catedral me fuera a impresionar tanto. Nos lo pasamos muy bien a pesar del tiempo, es mas creo q ayudo porque nos echamos unas risas.
Köln was beautiful to me, I did not expect that the cathedral would impress me so much. We had a great time despite the weather, what's more I think it helped because we laughed.

El primer día del intercambio estaba súper nerviosa por como iba ser mi compañera pero al final nos caimos genial, como ya suponía.
Además, las cuatro hora del viaje se me hicieron interminables al igual que a todos pero valieron la pena por tener esta oportunidad.
Al llegar a la casa me enseñaron mi cuarto y más tarde fuimos a hacer la compra. Esa tarde llovió mucho y por eso no pudimos que quedar con los demás así que Franzi y yo dimos un paseo por al rededor de su casa.
On the first day of the exchange I was super nervous about how my partner was going to be but in the end we fell great, as I already supposed.

In addition, the four hours of the trip were endless for me as well as everyone else but they were worth it for having this opportunity.

When I arrived at the house they showed me my room and later we went shopping. That afternoon it rained a lot and that's why we couldn't meet the others so Franzi and I took a walk around his house.

Tuvimos una visita guiada por el instituto de nuestros compañeros, también hicimos diferentes actividades para romper el hielo y por último fuimos a un pueblo precioso cerca de Rodgau llamado Seligenstadt, que aún hoy en día siguen manteniendo sus hogares con la apariencia que tenían en épocas pasadas. Por la tarde fuimos al lago todos los estudiantes y después fuimos a cenar pizza.

We had a tour of the highschool of our exchange partners, we did too differents ice-breaking activities and at the end we went to a beautiful town near Rodgau call Seligenstadt, where the houses still having the appearance that they had many years ago. In the afternoon we went to the lake, that it's so beautiful, all the students and after we went to a pizzeria for dinner.

Sinceramente no sabía que podía llegar a encontrarme aquí en Alemania, también tenía curiosidad por conocer cómo podría ser la experiencia de adoptar otras costumbres. Finalmente todo fue mejor de lo esperado, y los nervios por conocer a mi compañero su familia y ciudad se rompieron con un gran abrazo de bienvenida.

En nuestro tercer día fuimos a Colonia con nuestras profesoras, tuvimos una visita guiada por la ciudad, pero llovió durante la visita lamentablemente, luego fuimos a cenar a un italiano cerca del albergue. Lo que mas me gustó fue la catedral, es muy bonita.

In our third day we went to Cologne with our teachers, we were having a guide tour when start to rain. For the dinner went to an italian's restaurant near our hostel. For my the cathedral was the best thing that visited, it's amazing.

Hoy era realmente el primer día en el que comenzábamos con el proyecto, aunque hay que decir que con una hora un poco inusual. A pesar del sueño fue un día lleno de divertidas y amenas actividades que nos sirvieron para conocernos todos un poco mejor. La visita Seligenstadt fue espectacular, y más con los mejores guías posibles. Para concluir el día acabamos todos reunidos en el lago donde pasamos un rato espectacular.
Today was really the first day that we started the project, although it must be said that with a bit of an unusual hour. Despite the sleep, it was a day full of fun and enjoyable activities that helped us all get to know each other a little better. The visit to Seligenstadt was spectacular, and more so with the best possible guides. To conclude the day we all ended up meeting at the lake where we had a spectacular time.

Esta vez visitamos colonia para tomar un poco de aire fresco, a pesar del estrés del viaje allí todo fue rodado, excepto el clima que no acompañó. Visitamos la inmensa catedral y la mayor parte del centro de esta hermosa ciudad, fue un día muy aprovechado.

Pasamos la mañana en Colonia y subimos a una torre de la catedral, que tenía muchas escaleras, para poder ver las vistas de la ciudad. Después de comer volvimos a Rodgau y a las siete tuvimos una barbacoa en la casa de Friedrich y una pequeña fiesta después.

We spent the morning in Cologne and we climbed to a tower of the cathedral, what had a lot of stairs, to see the views of the city. After the lunch we returned to Rodgau and at 7 p.m we had a barbecue in Friederich's house and a small party.

Pasamos todo el día en el centro comercial de Frankfurt y visitamos diferentes calles, plazas y el río. Por la noche fuimos a cenar a casa de Franzi unas pizzas junto con algunos compañeros, nos lo pasamos muy bien.

Por la mañana fuimos Vallery, Daniela, Elena y yo a visitar una reserva de animales que hay en Rodgau, luego fuimos a por nuestro almuerzo y nos lo llevamos al lago donde estuvimos con el resto de estudiantes, por último decidimos ir algunos de nosotros a una heladería a comer unos gofres.

In the morning I went with Vallery, Daniela and Elena to a wildpark that it's in Rodgau, later we went to the lake and we ate there and the last thing that we did was going to an ice-cream shop and ate waffles.

No me esperaba que colonia me fuera a gustar tanto. Fue muy inesperado ya que ni siquiera había visto fotos de como era antes de ir. Tuvimos al mejor guía, era gracioso y muy buena gente. Nos enseño la catedral, pasando por la fabrica del perfume hasta llegar al río. Aunque llovió muchísimo no hizo que nuestro día se estropeara de hecho lo mejoró.
"I didn't expect to like Cologne so much. It was very unexpected since I hadn't even seen photos of what it was like before going. We had the best guide; he was funny and a great person. He showed us the cathedral, took us through the perfume factory, and led us to the river. Even though it rained a lot, it didn't ruin our day, in fact, it made it even better."

Tuvimos la oportunidad de visitar la Georg-Büchner-Schule y disfrutamos de un tiempo agradable con nuestros compañeros alemanes. Después de eso, visitamos un encantador pueblo llamado Seligenstadt y finalizamos el día todos juntos en el lago, divirtiéndonos mucho.

Toca decir adiós al albergue después de comer schiztel para volver con nuestros queridos alemanes. Estaba muy contenta por ir a Rodgau ya que el siguiente plan era la fiesta en casa de Friedrich. Fue un día largo e intenso pero igual de inolvidable que los anteriores.

It's time to say goodbye to the hostel after eating schiztel to return with our beloved Germans. I was very happy to go to Rodgau since the next plan was the party at Friedrich's house. It was a long and intense day but just as unforgettable as the previous ones.

El primer día del fin de semana en familia fue muy divertido, aunque demasiado caluroso. Fuimos a Frankfurt de compras con nuestros alemanes, fueron súper amables y nos enseñaron muchísimas cosas. Cogimos el tren de vuelta y decidimos cenar pizza y bailar, fue muy guay.

The first day of the family weekend was a lot of fun, although too hot. We went to Frankfurt shopping with our Germans, they were super friendly and taught us a lot of things. We took the train back and decided to have pizza and dance for dinner, it was very cool.

Por la mañana fuimos a conocer la catedral de colonia y vimos la ciudad desde las alturas. Comimos en un restaurante tipico aleman todos juntos. Por la tarde fuimos a una barbacoa en l granja de Friedrich, nos lo pasamos increíble.

La familia me llevo por la mañana a tomar el desayuno tipico aleman estaba buenísimo. Despues fuimos a frankfurt a conocer la cuidad y comprar en el centro comercial. Por la noche fuimos a cenar a casa de Franzi y allí estuvimos aprendiendo bailes tipicos alemanes y enseñandonos a presentarnos en aleman. Tambien estuvimos bailando sevillanas.. Fue un día increíble.
The family took me in the morning to have a typical German breakfast, it was very good. Then we went to Frankfurt to get to know the city and shop at the mall. At night we went to dinner at Franzi's house and there we were learning typical German dances and teaching us to introduce ourselves in German. We were also dancing Sevillanas. It was an incredible day.

Despertamos temprano y tomamos el tren con destino a Colonia. Realizamos un tour y exploramos los alrededores de la imponente catedral. A pesar de que empezó a llover intensamente, no nos detuvimos y, sorprendentemente, nos divertimos mucho bajo la lluvia. Después, regresamos al albergue para ducharnos y descansar un poco, y luego salimos a cenar juntos.

We woke up early and took the train to Cologne. We took a tour and explored the surroundings of the imposing cathedral. Even though it started to rain heavily, we didn't stop and surprisingly we had a lot of fun in the rain. Afterwards, we went back to the hostel to shower and rest a bit, and then we went out to dinner together.

Segundo y último día en familia. Vamos a un buffet libre para desayunar con unas vistas maravillosas. Más tarde todos nos encontramos en el lago y pasamos el día entero alli. Volvemos en bici a casa y charlamos sobre todo lo que ha ido pasando durante la semana.

Second and last day with the family. We are going to an open buffet for breakfast with wonderful views. Later we all met at the lake and spent the whole day there. We go back home by bike and talk about everything that has been happening during the week.

En Colonia, subimos hasta lo más alto de la catedral, una experiencia agotadora que dejó a más de uno con agujetas, pero valió la pena por las impresionantes vistas de la ciudad, almorzamos en un restaurante típico alemán donde la comida estaba muy rica. Al regresar a casa, nos preparamos para ir a la fiesta en casa de Friedrich, donde nos divertimos mucho alrededor de una hoguera.

In Cologne, we went up to the top of the cathedral, an exhausting experience that left more than one stiff, but it was worth it for the impressive views of the city, we had lunch in a typical german restaurant where everything was so tasty. Returning home, we prepare to go to the party at Friedrich's house, where we have a lot of fun around a bonfire.

Partimos hacia Frankfurt al mediodía y disfrutamos de un almuerzo en la ciudad. Fuimos de compras y dimos un paseo por sus calles. Luego, regresamos a casa para cenar y posteriormente salimos a casa de una de nuestras amigas alemanas. Pasamos un tiempo maravilloso: nos reímos mucho, conversamos en inglés, español y alemán, bailamos y cantamos juntos.

We leave for Frankfurt at noon and enjoy lunch in the city. We went shopping and took a walk through its streets. Then, we return home for dinner and later we go out to the house of one of our German friends. Mi familia de acogida y yo decidimos visitar Heidelberg, un hermoso y encantador pueblo con impresionantes casas y un castillo encantador. Montamos en barco y pasamos un tiempo maravilloso allí y me di cuenta de que estaba compartiendo esta experiencia con personas increíbles que nunca olvidaré. Al regresar a Rodgau, hicimos una parada en casa para cambiarnos y luego nos dirigimos al lago con nuestras amigas alemanas y españolas. Nadamos durante parte de la tarde y luego fuimos a disfrutar de un helado juntas.

My host family and I went to Heidelberg, a beautiful and charming town with impressive houses and a beautiful castle, we took a boat and we had a great time there and I realized that I am sharing this experience with impressive people that I will never forget. Voy ha sido nuestro último día en Rodgau, hemos asistido a una clase de biología en alemán, hemos hecho una visita guiada por Frankfurt y hemos comido y pasado la tarde allí. Luego hemos estado estudiando español porque mañana tienen el examen.

Today was our last day here in Rodgau. We went to a class of biology in German, we had a guide tour in Frankfurt and we had lunch and spent the afternoon there. Then we have studied Spanish because they have an exam tomorrow.

De los mejores días sin duda, en el instituto pudimos conocer a muchísimos alemanes; ya que hicimos una serie de actividades con ellos. Más tarde nos fuimos de excursión a un pueblo muy cerca del nuestro, donde pudimos hacer un poco de turismo. Y para terminar el día fuimos al lago ya que ese día hacía muchísima calor.

Aprovechamos el finde visitando la ciudad de Frankfurt, conociendo sus enormes centros comerciales y edificios; y disfrutando las horas de sol cerca del rio Meno. Tras la vuelta en tren a Rodgau, decidimos pasar la noche por las calles del pueblo, disfrutando la compañía de nuestros amigos.
We took advantage of weekend visiting Frankfurt, knowing its huge shopping centers and builidings; and enjoying the sunny hours near the river Main. After the return to Rodgau, we decided to spend the night through the streets of the town, enjoying the company of our friends.

El día antes de volver, fue un día lleno de emociones, de pensar en aquellas cosas que estábamos viviendo, y que sabíamos que iban a acabar en pocas horas. Nos fuimos a casa muy felices, por la gente a nuestro alrededor, pero tristes por saber que a algunos no los volveríamos a ver.
The day after coming back, It was a day full of emotions, of thinking about those things we were living and knew they were gonna end up in a couple hours. We went back home happy because of the people around us, but also sad because of knowing that we weren't gonna see again some of them.

En colonia pasamos unos dias increibles, primero vimos la catedral, increible, unas vidrieras preciosas.
Carlos (guía turístico) nos hizo una visita por varios sitios de colonia y justo al empezar la visuta empezo a llover, terminamos este día empapados en el albergue.
Por la noche fuimos a cenar a un restaurante italiano y nuevamente al salir de alli nos volvio a llorer.

Fuimos a primera hora al instituto y despues fuimos todos a frankfurt, una guia brasileña nos enseño la historia de toda la ciudad. Los alumnos alemanes vinieron a las 14 y fuimos a comer.
Despues todos se fueron al lago y yo me fui con Marina a la casa de Nova a pasar la tarde.
La abuela de Nova nos hizo una tarta de fresa buenisima y cenamos pizza con su hermano.

Después de dos días adaptándonos a Alemania y a sus costumbres viajamos todos juntos a Colonia.
Allí pudimos hacer turismo gracias a un gran guía turístico llamado Carlos que nos enseñó la ciudad, a pesar de que nos lloviera fue un gran día.

After two days adapting to Germany and its customs, we travelled all together to Cologne.

Seguimos haciendo turismo por esta ciudad y nos atrevimos a subir más de quinientas escaleras para llegar hasta el punto mas alto de la catedral y ver las vistas.
Más tarde visitamos la casa de Friedrich donde hicimos una barbacoa y más tarde una pequeña fiesta.

We continue to do tourism around this city and we dared to climb more than five hundred stairs to reach the highest point of the cathedral and see the views.

Vimos el centro comercial, parte de centro y el río Main donde pudimos descansar al sol plácidamente.

Por la mañana conocí a abuela de Franzi y desayuné con ella.

Madrugamos y antes de las 8 ya estábamos en el aeropuerto.
Me despedí de Franzi y su familia, y les agradecí haber hecho que mi estancia en Rodgau fuera tan amena. Tras 4 horas de vuelo y un corto viaje en coche ya estábamos en casa.

We got up early and before 8 we were already at the airport.
I said goodbye to Franzi and her family, and I thanked them for making my stay in Rodgau so enjoyable. After 4 hours of flight and a short drive, we were already at home.

Empezamos el día en el instituto con nuestros alemanes y en seguida nos fuimos a Frankfurt. Durante la mañana nos hicieron una visita guiada y aprendimos mucha cultura y muchos lugares, después fuimos a comer y por la tarde volvimos a Rodgau. Terminamos el día con una barbacoa en familia que disfrutamos mucho. No estaba preparada para irme.

El Domingo fue algo peculiar. Por la mañana conocí un festival en Rodgau (posiblemente lo más parecido a la feria de Sevilla que pude ver allí), con el que me di cuenta que los alemanes no eran tan serios como se decía. Luego por la tarde, todos aprovechamos para ir al lago de Rodgau y combatir la calor dándonos un baño.

The Sunday was a bit unusual. In the morning, I met a festival in Rodgau (maybe the closest thing to the Seville fair that I could see there), with which I realized that the german people weren't as serious as the people said.
Then in the afternoon, we all take the opportunity to go to the lake in Rodgau and beat the heat by taking a bath.

El último día que pasamos al completo comenzó en la escuela, y continuó nuevamente en la ciudad de Frankfurt. Conocimos a fondo la historia de la ciudad, y pudimos apreciar lugares que no vimos antes. Por la tarde, volvimos a Rodgau y tanto los compañeros alemanes como sevillanos decidimos dividir nuestros planes en diferentes grupos. Al finalizar el día no fui consciente de que era el último.
The last day we lived in full started at school, and it continued again in Frankfurt . We got to know the history of the city in depth, and we were able to appreciate places we hadn't seen before. In the afternoon, we returned to Rodgau and both the german partners and the sevillians decided to divide our plans into differents groups. At the end of the day, I wasn't aware that it was the last.

Esta mañana nos levantamos demasiado temprano, y con prisas y sin poder aún gestionar las emociones, tuvimos que despedirnos. De vuelta a casa, me di cuenta de lo mucho que he disfrutado el viaje y todo lo que he aprendido. Espero poder volver a ver a los demás compañeros alemanes pronto, pero antes de eso, les deseo un buen verano.

En nuestro segundo día en colonia subimos a lo mas alto de la catedral y casi morimos en el intento, ya que las escaleras de la catedral eran larguísimas, en forma de caracol y nada anchas. Pero las vistas al llegar arriba merecieron la pena. Después comimos en un bar muy típico de colonia, allí probe la cerveza pero no me gusto nada. Tristemente, llegó la hora de volver a Rodgau y cuando llegamos nos fuimos a la granja de Fredrich. Allí cenamos y pasamos una noche genial con todos nuestros compañeros.
On our second day in Cologne, we climbed to the top of the cathedral and almost died in the attempt, as the cathedral stairs were extremely long, spiral-shaped, and not very wide. But the views when we reached the top were worth it. Afterward, we had lunch at a very typical bar in Cologne, where I tried the beer but didn't like it at all. Sadly, it was time to return to Rodgau and when we arrived, we went to Friedrich's farm. We had dinner there and had a great night with all our companions.

Hoy hemos podido descansar un poco mas y nos hemos levantado mas tarde, pero el descanso ha durado poco porque un rato más tarde nos fuimos para Frankfurt. Al llegar vi toda la calle llena de tiendas y ahi fue donde pase todo mi día, ya que los días siguientes vería detenidamente toda la ciudad. Más tarde nos volvimos todos a Rodgau y allí comimos algo en un supermercado, con el atardecer de fondo. Esa tarde conocí a muchos alemanes con los que me lo pase genial y nos reímos mucho.
Today we were able to rest a little more and woke up later, but the rest didn't last long because a little while later we went to Frankfurt. Upon arrival, I saw the whole street full of shops, and that's where I spent my entire day since I would explore the rest of the city in the following days. Later, we all returned to Rodgau and had something to eat at a supermarket, with the sunset in the background. That evening, I met many Germans whom I had a great time with, and we laughed a lot.

Nos pasamos todo el día en la piscina, estuvimos tomando el sol, dándonos baños y comiendo. Después nos recogieron y fuimos a casa a arreglarnos, para ir a un restaurante precioso en el cual comimos súper bien.
We spent the entire day at the pool, sunbathing, swimming, and eating. Afterwards, we were picked up and went home to get ready before going to a beautiful restaurant where we had a great meal.
