    However, the USA tried to combat COVID-19 by giving out restrictions and mandating every American to wear a mask and get vaccinated, so their chances of getting the virus are low. 

    • Unfortunately, a few Americans refuse and despise the mandates, leading to controversial activities against their government, such as protests. 

    Thankfully, the country is recovering as their daily cases start to decrease while having unvaccinated Americans vaccinated.

    Bans on mass gathering event
    • Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin announced that religious, social and sports mass gatherings must be cancelled or postponed until 30 April 2020.However, the end date for the ban on mass gathering events are subject to revision depending on the situation of the outbreak.
    Medical responses (face mask)
    •  On 23 July 2020, Senior Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob announced that it will be compulsory for people to wear face masks in public spaces such as markets and public transportation from 1 August, with violators facing a RM1,000 fine

    •  Under the Movement Control Order put in place on 18 March 2020, all citizens were prohibited from leaving the country while foreigners were also prohibited from entering the country.

Some followed the Standard Operation Procedures (SOP) and Movement Control Order (MCO), and some neither follow them at all. Even with the cases that are rapidly increasing, they still think this pandemic is a joke to them.

    In addition, some people don't wear their mask to public places such as shopping malls and grocery stores, saying they have asthma and other reasons why. 

    • What makes things worse is as if they weren't vaccinated too. 
    • There are also people who don't even bother staying at home to avoid getting the virus; following the MCO. 

    The people who don't follow one of the procedures are called "Karens", a role made by millennial people on the Internet. This role originated from various social medias like Youtube, Twitter, and TikTok.
