First argument: Green hydrogen is an energy produced by the isolation of hydrogen. Its first and great advantage is that, unlike the electrical energy generated by wind or solar sources, green hydrogen can also be transported by road and by sea, allowing it to be taken to other continents. Experts from the Chilean Ministry of Energy estimate that it is possible that green hydrogen could reach export levels similar to those of Chilean mining in 2050.

Second argument: green hydrogen can take advantage of the production of other energies that produce electricity, such as solar and wind sources that are abundant in Chile. This, given that the production of green hydrogen requires electrical energy to be produced. On the other hand, the great disadvantage of green hydrogen is the important initial investment, but this is offset by the advantages that its production can be exported anywhere in the world, unlike other types of clean energy.
