It is an opportunity for them to have more ownership of the classroom language and to feel that they are more involved :D

You could also collaborate with your students to make a classroom contract, what you should and shouldn't do in the classroom. When people and, in particular, students feel that they are included in  decision making processes they can feel ownership of the contract/rules and, therefore,  more respect for the rules.

For example:

In our classroom, we will:
      -Be kind
      - Listen to the teacher
      -Listen to other classmates
      - Keep the class clean 

In our classroom, we won't
      - Be rude
      - Shout 
      - Make a mess
