Today is my second day for this job, after I put those tables and chairs, the customers have come on and on. For my activity today is tidy up the table and put the dishes to the sink. The reason to put dishes to the sink is to make it easier for the cleaner aunty to wash the dishes and tableware. The other thing I have done today is help to wash the cups because the dishes and cups have their own sink and they are cleaning separately. The cleaner aunty wash the dishes and I wash the cups after I had tidy up the tables. So these are the activities I have done today.

For today, everything as usual, I need to tidy up the tables and wash the cups , but I have another activity need to do which is sweep the floor because today is my turn to sweep the floor after closing the shop. Usually these cleaning jobs all staff need to take turn to do it to make the restaurant more clean and tidy so that the customer can have a clean and comfortable dining environment, and today is my turn to sweep the floor.

Because of Zhi Wei Restaurant's will be closed at Friday and Saturday every week, so I has been resting for two days. Today Sunday, my job has changed, I'm a dishwasher for today because of the cleaner aunty had some private affairs so she took a day off and I will replace her job. After the lady boss taught me I began to wash the dishes. From this job, I finally know that dishwasher is also not easy to do, I have to wash it very fast because of the amount of disk use needs a lot, and at the same time I have to make sure that the dishes are washed clean. So today my activity is wash the dishes.

Today boss said that they need to make an early preparation for more ingredient for cooking. So when I reach there boss ask me to help them prepare the ingredient first. He gave me big package of vegetable to cut the vegetable into a few of pieces. Just a bag of vegetable has already taken me some time. It seems that I need to strengthen the preparation of materials.

Today the customers are more than usual day, so the lady boss is more busy than usual. She is responsible for collecting money and making drinks, but today she's very busy in collecting money and taking order, after simply teaching me a few steps, the lady boss ask me to making the drinks for customers. Though a little busy in making drinks but fortunately, the customers thought that the drinks I made were not bad. So today's new activity is making drinks.

Weekdays are everyone's working day and school day ,so as usual when it's close to noon  it is the lunch break of the working people and many parents will pack lunch before sending their children away from school. Then, the amount of dishes use, of course, will increase, but today I'm not responsible for washing the dishes, but I'm in charge for wiping dry the dishes and tablewares which after washing by cleaner aunty ,before the clean dishes are used up. After drying the dishes, I have to put them back in place for them to use it. Today my activity is wiping dry the dishes.

Today is cloudy day, but the customers are still as much as usual. Just like before, after I have done my job, I need to do cleaning job after closing shop. Today I was asked to mop the floor. After the other employees swept the floor, I began to mop the floor from the dining area until to the kitchen. In the first round, I use soap water to mop the floor first, then I use the clean water to clean the soap in the second round. So, today my another activity is mopping the floor.

It's a rainy day, so the amount of customer will be a little less than usual but we still busy to serving customer. Today my activity is to serve food to customer. Normally most of our customers buy economic rice by self service, but because of today is rainy day, it's a little cold for the customers so most of them ordered soup food to eat in order to warm the body up, so I need to help to serve the foods to customers.

Today is my last day working at Zhi Wei Restaurant, just like before I help my boss to prepare the ingredient before start business. After open the shop, boss said today I just need to help tidy up the table and using the cleaning rag to wipe the table clean after the customer has finished the meal. I have to make sure that the table is not greasy and also dirty. We need to give a clean and comfortable dining environment for customers.  Of course, I have to do cleaning job after close the shop before I leave. So, wiping the table by using the cleaning rag is my activity for this last day. I am very happy to get to know my boss and lady boss, they are very kind to me these days, they will slowly explain to me and teach me how to do things I do not understand. I'm really appreciate it.
