         <description><![CDATA[<div>Think about encouraging these in the labeling parts of the unit<br><br>Unit 1 Science Vocab:</div><ul><li>Sun – the star that supplies earth with energy and light<br>Moon – an object in space illuminated by the Sun that is seen from Earth<br>Stars – objects in space that produce energy and light<br>Investigation – a formal way of studying a phenomena or event by collecting data to try to understand what is happening<br>Illuminate – when something is lit up by a light source<br>Data – information, measurements, and observations collected and used to construct<br>and explanation</li></ul><div>Unit 2 Science Vocab:</div><div>Vibration – a repeated back and forth, or up and down motion.<br>Observation – looking at something closely and carefully.<br>Investigation – an inquiry or organized study.<br>Communicate - to share or exchange information, or ideas.<br>Variable - an element, feature or factor that can be changed or measured.<br>Transparent – an object that light can pass through without scattering, so that things can be seen through it clearly.<br>Translucent – an object that light can pass through it, but the light is scattered, so that things cannot be clearly seen through it.<br>Opaque – an object that light cannot pass through.<br>Reflective – describes a surface from which a wave (light or sound wave) can bounce back when hit.<br>Illuminate – to light<br>Light source – something that produces light waves e.g. Sun, flashlight, and fireflies.</div><div><br></div>]]></description>
