Having any of your family going to jail/prison is the worst feeling you can have. Especially when you believed he/she will never commit any crime. From the book i read, “ all the things you are “ shows how Carly had to deal with her mother going to jail as she has been accused of embezzlement. Everything is not the same anymore as the person, her mother, seems like a whole new person she have never seen before.

The ship held tigers. Hungry tigers. However, food is finished. Not even a scrap is left. So, the captain thought of dropping them off ashore, not just anywhere. But dropped them off on a private dock belonging to a wildlife lover where the tigers will be taken care of and not leaving them to die. I have learnt that there is always a choice if u think hard enough. It just depends on whether you decide to make the right choice or not.

~ The girl from everywhere
By: Heidi Heilig
