The argument presented is that the United Nation must intervene and mandate the current situation and instigate a peaceful and diplomatic options as opposed to war. It also presents the idea of immediately putting the diplomatic solutions under examination to prevent the further destruction of lives among the innocents living in Syria.

  The editorial talks about the pandemonium in the country as the United States ordered a missle attack retaliating the witnessed gas attack on the province of Idlib. The missle attack garnered different opinions as the US, the European Union and other countries were for the attack whereas Russia and Iran were against it. Russia and Iran are both supporters of the current president of the country. President al-Assad rose to power when he succeeded his father Hafez al-Assad in July 2000 and is still currently in power. The al-Assad family established an authoritarian regime. The regime led to protests starting from March 2011 and Assad gave orders to crush the said protest and rebel groups. This led to the speculation that the earlier bombing ,before the US missle attack, was from the current Syrian government. It was witnessed that a Russian-made Sukhoi 22 bomber dropped four bombs, 3 of them were explosive and the last one was loaded with toxic gas, that led to the death of 70 people and more injured.  The Syrian government, however, denied the attack. The town of Khan Sheikhoun, located at the northwest province of idlib, was said to be a rebel stronghold since its capture in March 2015

  The editorial presented the supporting details  to lead it to the main argument presented. It first showed why the topic became relevant then shed light on the background of the fiasco. The argument was supported before presenting it as the argument was presented after the facts and details. It also presented the uncertainty of the future of the country after the involvement of the US. The article stated, "With the US joining the frey, there is no telling where the conflict would go."

1.  With the implementation of Republic Act of 10533, Filipinos are now free to enroll their children in the kindergarten level which is a requirement before entering grade one.
2. Even though basic education is free and compulsory, starting from the 3rd grade, the dropout rate is still high and continues to increase up to the high school level.
3. This new law will also prepare students for the vocational or regular courses they want to pursue when they go to college.

Details
The authorities wanted to make sure that poverty and other financial problems would not hinder parents in sending their children to school.  Despite the free education that this law offers, a lot of families still find it hard to send their children to school due to daily necessities and miscellaneous expenses which leads to dropout of students. This law opens opportunities for the students to enhance their skills and to be locally and globally competitive.

Revision
According to Chua (2016), the dropout rates for grade 7 to 10 had a decline. However, the tables turned in 2015. Statistics from rappler, states that high school dropout rates went down from 7.99% to 6.11% in a span of 10 years.

In United States, a CNN report said that a study in the journal JAM pediatrics showed that 23% of teens , report that they are or have been the target of cyberbullying. Another 15% admitted bullying someone else online. Bullying among kids and teens is an age-old phenomenon, but with the use of social media, that can attract hordes of users in a matter of minutes. Cyberbullying can cause traumatic effects which are disrupted sleep, lower self-esteem, etc. The inability to open up can lead to depressive behaviors and anxiety disorders.

  One the suspected shabu operator Meco Tan tried to escape in his car but was shot dead.
 The government should be more strict on smugglers as well as to drug pushers because these two are linked together.

Details:
  The smuggling have negative effects in our economy. Aside from the expanding use of drugs, the business community discourages the use of drug because unfair competition and investments. The government needs to tighten their control over the country about supply of precursors for prohibited drugs.

Suggestions:
 The government shouldn't only focusing on large-scale drug traffickers.

These drugs are prescribed as appetite stimulants in Aids.
Marijuana contains tetrahydrocannabinol ot thc that can ease the pain and nausea that comes with cancer treatment and can help with management of chronic pain.
