The increase in cotton prices globally is something that most countries can take advantage of, to increase the supply and therefore, profit of the same.

However, the farmers in UAE face shortages with water, causing a greater production cost in terms of input, including water and necessary resources such as fertilizers and technology required to stabilize the cotton plant to the country's climate.

This is the main reason due to which Farmers in the UAE are not able to maximize the profit as per the situation of the global economic market.
