I use the Micro:bits and Sphero in the class (could do more often).

CRIS is discussed regularly, RSHP, KMS help with the teaching of key concepts and Safer Internet Day Involvement.

It was useful to get tips around apps, links etc that we could use with the children.

Using the time to hook up screen sharing was also useful (for those it worked for)

We have tried to save useful resources with clear file names in the hierarchical structure so it remains organised.

There are still lots of resources that could be removed or highlighted as the most useful so it can sometimes be lots to search through especially if you are new to a stage.

We used the CRIS resources to teach the lessons allocated to our stage and this was complimented by work in RSHP about online safety.

P5 used a timetable to schedule daily opportunities to use the ipads both 1:1 when possible then 1:2 when the number reduced after the audit.

I have used forms and blooket as tools to gather assessment information.

I have also become more mindful of where it enhances learning and where to maintain balance with not using them to avoid too much screen time or over reliance on tech.

I have explored using the microbits and now feel confident using these for different functions like thermometers, counters and even games like treasure hunts and rock paper scissors.

In P5 the 1:2 opportunities mean you have to be more flexible with how you use the ipads but we have trialled partner work, half class ipad half class paper, one ipad per group to mixed success. It is hard to share an ipad for children and ensure that everyone remains engaged and nobody is left doing nothing. This is still an area I want to keep improving.

You set up the shared ipad which makes all the passwords etc the same and are looking into them having log ins so work can be saved.

As my stage partner you modelled and shared so many WAGOLLs for using the tech and work from your class so I could try to reach the same standard with mine.

Your enthusiasm helped support people feeling less confident. Your shoutout at meetings recognised those trying to use tech in different ways.

You set up screen mirroring and sorted HUE, ipad to board cables etc to allow us to all have consistency across the school

You organised the purchasing of better robotics through the Indis, microbits and spheros then also training in their use.
