I think anyone trying to help the environment by purchasing solar panels should not have to pay super high taxes for them. After listening to the video I agree with higher tariffs on washing machines but still not solar panels. She demonstrated how hard women are willing to work in order to get what they want. I liked hearing about women in law and that some people were happy they were elected into the Supreme Court. I think I can better comprehend the words when I read it myself and I like to read it in whatever voice I imagine. The video of the reading was corny and I did not think it was powerful or moving in any way. However, I do think the document itself is, and I felt that way when I read it for the fist time. My favorite part of the Declaration of Independence is all of the "he has" sentences. By signing the document they all committed treason but were willing to do so for their new nation. They did not know how the war was going to go or if they were going to be hanged.
