Have you ever felt like breaking down but you just couldn't? Well, in the book Blended By Sharon M Draper, there is a character named Isabella Thornton. And Isabella Personvered through some really hard times. Such as, when her parents got divorced, getting along with new family members, and when she gets shot in the arm. These are super hard things to go through at such a young age, and sometimes all she wanted to do was just let it out. It never seemed like the right time. Today I am gonna tell you all about these h5ard things in her life.

Reason 1

First is when her parents get divorced. Isabella had to live in a different house, have different backpacks, Different lives. She never complained. She had to switch identities. She had to change everything. All she wanted was for things to be the same but it never happened. As soon as she found out her parents felt this way, she just stayed calm and fought through. She wanted to cry and let it out, but she didn't. She pushed through, and accepted the change.

Another reason why Isabella persevered through tough times is when she had to get along with new family members. Once they all went to the cheesecake factory, and Anastasia, (Isabella's dads girlfriend) insisted on her eating healthier. It made her uncomfortable and now she questions her meals. Sometimes she even gets overwhelmed by her dad's new, HUGE house. It has three stories and it's all brick, up and down. She has to get used to her dad having a bigger house then her mom.

Reason 3

My last reason on how Isabella persevered is when her arm got shot. Even though her arm was almost gone, she pushed through and surprisingly survived this terrible accident. She really pushed, and turned out okay. She was also super optimistic and happy when she was in the hospital room. She was trying to keep everyone calm. She smiled and waved at the nurses and was feeling better in no time!
