It highlights many of the principles of Self Reliance including humbleness and perseverance. Musk has been quick to express his belief in the Fermi Paradox in that humanity lives in a simulation. He also has stated his desire to die on the red planet, Mars which goes along with his beliefs of the necessity to colonize other planets for humanity to survive and the best way to go about making Mars habitable might be to nuke it.
