The course is centered about the issues raised by the EU2020 .I have a wide number  of knowledge and competence now to modernise our school curriculum  regarding internationalisitation strategies  and european objectives.Due to the group work and discussions I learned about how to learn by  myself, how to apply new teaching methods, how to organize projects on EU level and I improved my digital competences.  Rita is my role model on organising and structuring our lessons in the different classrooms with the open doors. In the encounters with the people the music and the food helped to understand each other quickly. Guadeloupe is a prime example of how people of different skin colours live together in harmony and self-evidently. Nevertheless, it became clear how different people can be in the Caribbean compared to other European countries. In the course we exchanged intensively, how then the education of our pupils to tolerant humans in a globalisierten world could succeed. Furthermore, we became aware of how important the awareness of one's own identity and nationality is as a foundation for peaceful coexistence with the various cultures. It is central to discover similarities, to make common experiences. The audit of the international status of the school made us aware of much of what we are already working successfully and showed us further possibilities for action. Only in very many small steps can we prepare young people for the challenges of the globalized world. It is also important to win over parents and teachers and motivate them anew. It is a peace-building task for all educators. The fact that the EU offers such courses is very far-sighted and has a lasting effect.

The course organisation and implementation by Rita was extremely prudent, versatile and professional.

The style of this lesson and especially the very good exchange in the group were great. As headmaster of a primary school I take home many inspirations for our school community to encourage and support further ideas and activities for international learning at our elementary school. The outdoor classrooms were amazing and learning in such a new and different environment really left an impression none of us will ever forget. 
The implementation of a theoretical concept like internationalization into practical use and real-life activities was really exciting and fun to do and I got some really great ideas for future projects in our school. Every day we learned something new and bit by bit the pieces came together into actual ideas.

Guadeloupe in particular is a very good example of this multiculturalism, as we experienced in the ACTe Memorial.
The introduction to the local localities in different levels up to Creole cuisine with cooking on the beach showed us the whole variety of culinary food.
Besides the food we gained a great insight into the nature of the islands. In a garden we could marvel at the variety of the fauna. In addition we could admire natural spectacles in the rain forest.
A small insight into the economy of the island, especially the tradition of sugar cane cultivation and rum production showed the importance of the island.
The mixture of the different peoples on Guadeloupe found its expression in a special music, which is to be found only on the island. At a drum workshop we could try out the different rhythms.
To become a citizen of the world does not mean to give out one's own identity, on the contrary, everyone should keep his roots. What is important is mutual respect and tolarance in dealing with other people, regardless of their faith or culture.
As a teacher, who has the handling and the influence on the future global citizen, it is the responsibility of the individual to equip his students with the appropriate skills.
The course itself was very well organized, the tools were excellent. About the world, the nature, different countries and people but most important about yourself. Stepping out of a daily routine highlights the true essence of what we are, awakens a curious child inside us and sets perfect conditions for transformational  learning.
