Scenario: Imagine you’re meeting with a detail-oriented, risk-averse HR Policy Director focused on compliance and uniformity. Your goal is to advocate for incorporating working titles in tech job announcements to attract qualified candidates while assuring them that compliance and classification consistency will be maintained. Emphasize how working titles improve candidate clarity and align with other agencies' successful practices. Suggest a pilot program with defined metrics to minimize risks and demonstrate effectiveness.

Variation: Now, imagine you’re meeting with a forward-thinking Chief Human Capital Officer (CHCO) who values data-driven modernization. They’re supportive of new ideas but want to see alignment with strategic goals. Emphasize working titles as a competitive advantage in attracting top tech talent, showing alignment with broader modernization efforts and predictive hiring metrics.

Try it as a pilot project - look at working titles and see the data that comes from it - dig into the resumes that align with the title vs the broader resume. The resumes will hopefully better align with that - anecdotal and qualitative feedback is good as well and the quality of the hire.
