This is a suitcase-size device which can detect human heartbeats under 20 ft of solid concrete and 30 ft of rubble.</div><div><br></div><ol><li><strong>ALIRT (Airborne Ladar Imaging Research Testbed)</strong>&nbsp;</li></ol><div>Technology that can produce high-resolution 3D renderings of terrain and infrastructure. Thus, it can help identify population changes at displaced persons camps, helicopter landing zones and road travel conditions. This information can help aid agencies to effectively dispatch vital resources, such as tents, blankets, water, food and medical supplies.</div><div><br></div><ol><li>Radar Sensors</li></ol><div>Land-based sensors, including radar sensors, collect similar data along the coastline. This system, called the Web-enabled Awareness Research Network, can help save lives and limit the impacts of natural disasters.</div><div><br></div><ol><li>Orange Saver</li></ol><div>The Orange Saver could help save many lives during a natural disaster. This invention is meant to protect a family during a tsunami.
