Developing an approach to encourage teachers to let go of some "classroom power" and co-plan with the TL.  I find that many teachers are afraid to let go of the reins.  This was once me, so I can empathize.  We often have so much curriculum and so little time. If I can convince classroom teachers to work with me, hopefully the LLC resources will be used to their full potential.
2. I want to focus on improving my knowledge of resource options to purchase supplies. This year I am the acting department leader, so I need to become familiarized with these methods to make the best purchases with the budget.
3. I want to improve my connections with the local community, since I did not grow up here. 2. Develop ideas to stretch the budget to help bring more resources into the library to shift it more towards the "Learning Commons" as defined by Together for Learning (pg. 38 & 39).

From Leading Learning, I would like to use the LLC to act as a hub of differentiated resources, that assist our applied level students with their literacy skills.

Board Improvement Plans: Our board has a large push on mental & health wellness with our students.
