         <description><![CDATA[<div>On January 16th, 2021, at 8:19 PM, the RCMP investigated a discharged fire arm report, consequently leading to the arrest of a Bigney man who attempted to euthanize his dog after he it had bitten several people. In the process of doing so, the bullet had struck another man, aged 21. When the RCMP searched the Bigney man's home, they found and seized 29 long guns, and 9 handguns.  </div>]]></description>

Samantha Lea Sketch, 28, pleaded guilty to both charges before being sentenced to the provincial court in Charlottetown. On April 23, 2019, she and others had stolen cheques roughly worth 1,500 from one individual. They also had stolen credit cards, and was caught on a surveillance camera at Scotia Bank on Grafton Street. The police were only able to arrest her because she was involved in a car accident. </div>]]></description>
