They are the smallest warm-blooded and lays the tiniest eggs. They only weigh between 1.6 to 1.8 grams which is less than a dime. They are so small that people sometimes mistake them for bumblebees. They are the smallest animal and have the second fastest heart beat. They can flap their wings 80 times per second and have the least amount of feathers out of all birds having only about 1,000.
