It shows the struggles he was faced with just because of his background and ethnicity. But none the less, those who cared about him as an individual and not just a "money maker" made sure he got the education he needed even far before he was even recognized for his talent and was homeless. It just shows how there are still good people out there, and this movie goes in so many different directions and teaches so much life lessons that it would be a shame being left out of our curriculum.
