My sister and I decided to visit the most recognizable sight in the world – the Eiffel Tower. When we arrived to destination, two men with sheets of paper and pencils came to us. They didn’t say anything and had just started to draw. When they finished, they showed our portraits (it was pretty awful) and set up prices at 10 euros. It was an unreasonable price for those pictures and I started to bargain. I was really bad at bargaining and my English was poor, but I managed to reduce the price to 5 euros. Two men didn’t agree immediately, but had given us portraits and were shocked we continued our walk.

I  can’t even remember any situation, when I was bargaining. But my father is really good at this. He used to work a lot with turkish people, so bargaining was a really necessary skill and he had enough practice. 
Once we were having a rest in Turkish hotel. There was a jewelry shop with lots of beautiful things. Me and my sister fell in love with very nice white gold earrings . But buying two pairs was very expensive. So my father started bargaining. At first the owner of a shop was reducing price reluctantly. But when my father said that he   would think about it and maybe he would return to buy it later… The seller reduced price almost twice, so we bought two pairs and were very happy.
