Baby starts putting things in their mouth to explore and figure out what they might be or feel like.

Baby is able to reach for toys they might want or find interesting, or grab or pull caregivers hair.

Baby starts to close their lips to show they are full and done eating.

Baby loves to take turns making noises back and forth with you. ( A very good "game" to develop speaking)

Baby may start to blow "raspberries" which is ( sticking the tongue out and blowing)

Baby starts making squealing noises to show they like something or find it amusing.

Baby starts to know and recognizes familiar people like ( family, close family friends, caregivers).

Baby may love to look at themselves in the mirror and laugh and make faces.

Baby may start to really enjoy laughing at others and themselves.

Baby is able to roll from their tummy to their backs with no help at all.

Baby is able to push up with straight arms while on tummy or during (tummy time)

Baby is starting to lean on their hands when they are sitting up by themselves.
