Effects After Cuban Missile Crisis: Relations between Cuba and the Soviet Union were on shaky ground for some time after Khrushchev's removal of the missiles, as Fidel Castro accused the Russians of backing down from the Americans and deserting the Cuban revolution.
Effects of JFK role in the invasion and the crisis: His involvement with the invasion hurt his reputation because the invasion failed and his involvement in the Cuban missile crisis helped him stop the USSR in giving Cuban nuclear weapons. And it restored his reputation.
Effects after Nikita Khrushchev's role in the crisis: almost started a nuclear war and ended the world but the USA stopped him and Castro and we have a bad relationship with them now.
