I teach German at primary schools (5th and 6th grades). I joined the course because education is constantly evolving and AI has already penetrated this area. Since it has come to stay, I would not like the idea of my students surpassing me in knowledge, skills and abilities. My experience with AI has until now been confined to tools for text-to-speech conversion. And to be honest, I come up against several tools nowadays without my being sure whether these are AI or not. A bit confused. But I will work things out.

I've used some AI tools, such as: ChatGPT- experiments of many kinds, making it help me to write texts for official reports that I need to have copy for in a hurry, I then use the output to make it my own (that works faster when I'm tired and need a text fast). I've also used it to help me decide a better way of saying something. And other things too. Other AI tools I've used: something for finding references. Something for making presentations (TOME). Translating apps (Deepl, Google). Dall-e... I'm super late joining the course but I'll do my best to learn as much as I can. Thanks for reading about me.
