12 years ago, there was an earthquake in the South Island of New Zealand. Being exactly, it happened in Canterbury and Drafield. It had 7'1º of magnitude.

Furthermore, the shaking took place at 4:35 am, while people were sleeping at their homes. Fortunately, there were not any deaths. However, two people were seriously injured, which was a miracle, because they could be dead, seeing the magnitude of the earthquake.

In addition, the shaking produced a lot of damages in old buildings. Also, there was power outages. Moreover, some experts, such as Kelvin Berryman, Mathew Gerstenberger, Terry Webb, Pilar Villamor, Chris Massey and Lindy Fursman went to explore the areas which were destroyed.

After the experts watched these areas, the government declared the country as in "state of emergency".
To sum up, it is based on experts' opinion: They believe that if people had not been sleeping, the inhabitants of Christchurch would have died. Besides, experts says that if there are a lot os shakings like this, the city will be destroyed.

I have recently visited a place in Andalucía with droughtand I have followed this report for your consideration. This started in 2016, but nowadays it is still going.

Since 2016 the lack of rain has produced hard conditions for the whole world. However, each year the heatwave starts earlier. Although the humans realize certain actions that rise the drought because it affects the weather.

This has produced a boiling hot and lack of water. That affects the crops of the farmers, also affects the volume of rivers and lakes.

- If we use less cars, contamination drops.
- If we did not waste water, drought would reduce.
- If the weather changes, lakes will rise voulme.

Experts say that there is not a miracle solution. Drought affects energy and industrial production and food crisis.
They are doing collections for give solutions. Althought experts will continue working to find more solutions.

The aim of this report is totalk about the volcanic eruption that took place in La Palma, on 19 September of 2021and finished the 13 December, 2021. The eruption lasted 85 days and 8 hours.

Physical consequences
This volcanic eruption destroyed around 3.000 buildings. Also, aproximatelly 20.000 people had problems with their houses, because their houses were buried in lava and many families lost their homes. All buildings, such as schools, churches and streets also were buried in lava.

Psycological consequences
Another aspect to consider is the psycological problems in the people. Appart from the physical damages, a lot of people had health problems, for example, many people can not sleep well since this disaster ocurried, others have bad and negative thoughts and some people had depression.

Finally, the autorities are trying to remove the volcanic rocks on the streets. Many people think that they could never recover their homes. If no one had lived near to volcano, the damages would have been weaker.

INTRODUCTION.

The intention of this report is to talk about an environmental problem named “Pole Wear”. This problem started about 30 years ago in the Artic and Antartic. It is produced by the global warming, and the ice disappears with the time. Currently  the Poles has lost 28.000 million tons (65%).

CONSEQUENCES.

In first place, an a consequence of the Pole wear, sea level is rising very fast. Too, animals like Pole bears or Penguins are endangered. Other animals, such us the artic fox is extinct.

EXPERTS OPINIONS. 

Experts think that we would have stoped this problem years ago if we had saved energy. Their advice is to change fossil fuels for clean energy. My point of view is that if we do not reduce global warming, the Artic and Antartic poles will dissapear. 

THE 13 OF NOVEMBER OF 2002, IN THE GALICIAN CITY OF VIGO, HAPPENED A DISASTER, WHOSE CONSISTED IN THAT A BOAT CRUSHED WITH A CONTAINER THAT WAS SAIL

ON NOVEMBER 13, 2002, IN THE GALICIAN CITY OF VIGO, A DISASTER OCCURRED, WHICH CONSISTED IN AN OIL TANKER, COLLIDING AGAINST A CONTAINER THAT WAS SAILING ADRIFTING IN THE CANTABRIAN OCEAN WHERE THIS TRAGIC EVENT OCCURRED. YES NO HAD THIS HAPPENED, A CATASTROPHE WOULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED.

CONSEQUENCES

 THE CONSEQUENCES OF THIS DISASTER WERE VARIOUS, SUCH AS THE DEATH OF THOUSANDS OF MARINE SPECIES, BOTH FAUNA AND FLORA DUE TO THE OIL LEAK. ALSO ON THE OTHER PART THIS CAUSED A STRONG ECONOMIC COST, WHICH WAS MORE OR LESS THAN 12,000,000 EUROS. ALTHOUGH THE GOVERNMENT WAS HELPED BY NON-GOVERNMENTAL ORGANIZATIONS. IT ALSO WAS NOT FINISHED UNTIL 2 YEARS LATER, BUT IN OUR DAYS THERE STILL CONTINUES TO BE ENVIRONMENTAL PROBLEMS.

 CONCLUSION

IN SUMMARY THE CRASH OF THE PRESTIGE WAS A BIG PROBLEM WHICH IN GENERAL IF IT HAD NOT HAPPENED A LOT OF PROBLEMS WOULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED WHICH CAUSED EXTREMELY PROBLEMS AT THE MOMENT BUT EVEN THOUGH IT HAS BEEN A LOT OF TIME, WE MUST THINK THAT THIS STILL HAS IMPACT

INTRODUCTION

The aim of this report is to inform about pollution in Guadalquivir river due to oil spills of factories. This problem produces a fish kill and a reduction of a number of plants that were near the river.

WHAT HAPPENED IN GUADALQUIVIR RIVER

The last May 5th in a common river called “Guadalquivir” it was produced a water contamination. This contamination had produced a oil spill. If oil spills enter in the water, the fish die. People that saw the situation called forest police  to put a solution to this problem. When autorities saw the situation, they wrote an important ticket.

CONSEQUENCES OF THIS OIL SPILL

This accident had created a terrible problem in the river. For example : oil remains kill every  fish species. Not only this problem but also people can not fish and boatmen can not do their job.The police clousered the factory and created other problems: jobless people. If the workers had controlled the situation, the river would not have contaminated.

THE EXPERTS OPINION

When national geographici experts analised the situation, they concluded that this is an strange problem. And around 25 species died and, If farmers and ranchers use this water, they will lose money money. And the quality of their cultives os animals life decrease.

An earthquake of magnitud 9,1 in Japan (regionToshaka) on 11 March 2011, It caused a tsunami in the Pacific Coast.

This occurrence caused serious damage in the region. The earthquake lasted 6 min and origine at tsunami with a wave of 40,5 meters in Honshu Coast. The epicenter of the sea had a depth of 29,9km. This caused a shift of the two plates: Pacific and North American plates. The tsunami is the fourth most powerful in the world. It caused 1588 deaths, 2556 missing and 6152 injured people and many places were destroyed. 

From the expert point of view, the moon has no significant effect on earthquake triggering.  If the moon causes earthquakes, it would cause smaller earthquakes that happen daily.

THe aim of this report is to inform about an environmental Issue. In this case,it ocurred in 1952in London.

WHAT HAPPENED IN LONDON IN 1952?

First of all, this environmental contamination was,specifically from, the days 5th december-9th december. There was a wave of wet and warm air. If it had not ocurred, London, in this term would not have had any problems of contamination. Furthermore, it has an explanation, the temperature dropped a lot because, in the sky, it was formed a great fog for the condesation that there was in that moment. Secondly, you were not able to see the sunset because the fog did not allow to see normal, you can see it.

EXPERTS OPINIONS

The experts opinions are varied. In conclution, some experts think that it was a dangerous disaster and that we must be very carefull, because if we did te same, it would have happened again. And this environmental issue, is the worst in the world, because for this reason 4000 people have died and 100000 people got sick.
