I could read words in my head fluently however when it came out of my mouth it came out one word at a time. I wish I was given reading support in Junior High. I was raising my family, working full time and attending college.  I would read to my babies because I knew if I read to them at a young age they would be better readers. As it turns out all three of my children are great readers! Books that I read to my children were "Clifford the Big Red Dog" books and "Barney" books.

I would go to a reading teacher to help me read.
