What is a Hurricane: A hurricane is a storm with violent winds and that has the capability to destroy houses and create floods. 
What Drives a Hurricane: It needs water vapor, warm air/winds and warm water temperature.
What is the Coriolis Effect: The effect tends to deflect moving objects to the right in the northern hemisphere and to the left in the southern hemisphere.
What are Convection Currents:  Air is heated and then rises, often pushed upward by heavier, cooler air masses. As the air rises it cools and expands. Which the causes a hurruicane.
What does Africa Have to do With Hurricanes Forming in the U.S.: Since Africa is hot and the water is also warm, the wind transfers the forming storm over to the US and then creates a "Tropical Hurricane".
