Main Idea : How poisonous animals react when feeling attacked or threatened by predators, and what they do to the predator. It is also about how poison keeps animals safe.
Supporting Details :
According to the text, some species of millipedes can release a poisonous gas that can kill small animals if they are feeling threatened. This can keep them safe by ensuring that they will be protected at all times. This can also be true with other animals, but in a variety of ways. The heading of the section is called, “Poisonous Prey” and this is true because animals produce poison when they are targeted as prey by predators.

Poisonous prey would rather avoid a fight, so they flash warning colors and symbols, and sometimes even sounds.
