Informing the recipient that the sender has deleted a message somewhat defeats the purpose of deleting it in the first place. An umbrella is shaped in such a way that is could potentially put someone's eye out. Also, sooner or later the rain will stop and you will find yourself stuck holding it while it drips a trail of water everywhere you go with it.
There is also nothing worse than having someone's umbrella obstruct your view. Spectators will often use the umbrella as shade during a sporting event which works to the owner's advantage but beyond annoying for the other spectators. Unlike other smartphone and gadget cables, this cable supports reverse insertion, so you can insert either end of the cable. The data transmission rate is higher than the most commonly used micro-USB cables also it supports relatively larger charging currents ranging from 3 A to 5 A. Type-C ports are more refined in structure i.e. it's much safer and reliable to use than other ports.
𝐒𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐡 𝐏.𝐒
𝐌𝐘.𝐒𝐂.𝐈𝟓𝐌𝐂𝐀𝟏𝟗𝟎𝟐𝟐

I have no idea what this product is named after. If I were to ever name it, I would name it as inutile wine glass. There is no way a person could peacefully drink anything by using this product. May be say you might even drink but if you were a person who would want to waste money then surely this is your product. The reason because I find it the most useless one, is that there is half of the glass that cannot be put to use. Apart from making a plant grow. Yah pretty funny. Neither can u keep an egg. U won’t be able to get the egg back in one piece. Could we keep chocolates? nah not possible. Even if you think about it for maybe say a day all you can think is, only a may be good candle could be made out of this but next be ready to scrub the inner glass part when it turns black due to burning of candle. Basically this is the most useless product ever.
-Shruthi G Bhonsle
MY. BU. U3COM19121

Canva is a platform for graphic design that allows users to create graphs, presentations, and different visual content for social media. The main reason for its popularity is the ease of use.
Perkins is the 32-year-old co-founder and CEO of Canva, a free-to-use, online design platform.
The young founder started the company in Australia in 2013 in a bid to make design accessible to all — be it for logos, business cards or presentations. Within five years, she made headlines as one of tech's youngest female CEOs, at just 30.
Perkins was just 19 when she was first struck by the idea. It was 2006 and she and Obrecht were studying at university in Perth.
The teen would earn a little income on the side by teaching other students design programs. But students found the platforms offered by the likes of Microsoft and Adobe "crazy hard" and she felt there must be a better way.
"People would have to spend an entire semester learning where the buttons were, and that seemed completely ridiculous," Perkins told CNBC Make It. "I thought that in the future it was all going to be online and collaborative and much, much simpler than these really hard tools."
So she and Obrecht set to work making that vision a reality.
With few resources and little business experience behind them, the they started small and created an online school yearbook design business, Fusion Books, to test out the idea.
They launched a website for students to "collaborate and design their profile pages and articles." They would then print the yearbooks and deliver them to schools across Australia.
The business was a success, and remains active today. But for Perkins, it was just the first step in what she called her "crazy, big dream" for a one-stop-shop design site — so she began chasing investors.
Today, Canva has helped create close to 2 billion designs in 190 countries and won celebrity backing from the likes of Owen Wilson and Woody Harrelson.
- PRAVALIKA T V
MY.MC.I5VCM19029

May 20, 1873 marked an historic day: the birth of the blue jean. It was on that day that Levi Strauss and Jacob Davis obtained a U.S. patent on the process of putting rivets in men's work pants for the very first time.
One day the wife of a local laborer asked Jacob to make a pair of pants for her husband that wouldn’t fall apart. Jacob tried to think of a way to strengthen his trousers and came up with the idea to put metal rivets at points of strain, like pocket corners and the base of the button fly. These riveted pants were an instant hit. Jacob quickly decided to take out a patent on the process, but needed a business partner to help get the project rolling. He immediately thought of Levi Strauss, from whom he had purchased the cloth to make his riveted pants.

Niharika K
MY.SC.I5MCA19010

Duolingo is an application for learning languages .This started as an academic project at Carnegie Mellon between Luis Von Ahn , and his Ph.D. student Severin Hacker. They both wanted to work on something related to education. Education is very general, so they decided to concentrate on one kind that is in huge demand everywhere (except the US): language education. It turns out over 1.2 billion people are learning a new language around the world. The largest part of the market was not being addressed because there was no great way to make money from them. Most people who wanted to learn a language couldn't afford the best ways of doing it.

They wanted to have a way to teach people languages for free. But not just free. They wanted to have the best quality of language education, and offer it for free.

But making the best language learning system (or the best of anything) requires a lot of money.

This was an idea similar to reCAPTCHA. They generated something valuable out of the mental energy spent by students learning a language, And it turns out there is, and that’s what Duolingo does. Instead of paying tuition or a subscription fee, their students actively translate a range of documents for organizations as they practice what they have learned. Things like news articles, websites, Wikipedia, and blog posts. They hone their language skills with real-world applications, which gives their effort a purpose and offers an opportunity they previously couldn’t afford.

It’s a mutually beneficial arrangement for both parties. Their students receive a high-quality, completely free, language education, and organizations are given translation services powered by the students.
Duolingo heavily relies on gamification for engaging its learners. Learners choose a language they want to learn (Spanish, German, Klingon, High Valerian… yes, really!). The interface is playful so as to be non-threatening, the vocabulary and grammar is provided in easy-to-learn chunks and content is unlocked based on progress, and learners can react and ‘like’ other player’s activity. One of the most successful mechanics in Duolingo is the ‘streak’ where users are rewarded for spending 10 minutes a day on the platform to ensure regular practices and retention of learning.

                  Maria Sara Sabu
               MY.MC.I5VCM19025

A diesel motorcycle is a motorcycle with a diesel engine. With a traditionally poor power-to-weight ratio, most diesel engines are generally unsuited for use on motorcycles which normally desire low weight, compact size, high RPMs and rapid acceleration. In the 1980s, NATO forces in Europe standardized all their vehicles to operate with diesel fuel. Some forces had fleets of motorcycles and trials were conducted with diesel engines on these. Air-cooled single-cylinder engines built by Lombardini of Italy were used and had some success.[citation needed] This led to some countries re-fitting their bikes with diesel engines.
In India, motorcycles built by Royal Enfield could be bought with 325 cc single-cylinder diesel engines because diesel fuel was much cheaper than petrol (gasoline) at the time, and of more reliable quality. These engines were noisy and unrefined and not very popular because of lower performance and higher weight penalties. The engines were originally designed for use in commercial applications such as electric generators and water pumps.

                     Bholenath MV
                     MY.BU.U3BBA19037

History is basically a collective memory of a people. And we realize that history is a sum of parts.
And some of those parts, are delicious. It all began when fours guys who are history buffs (and
beverage buffs!) sat down to have lunch on a hot Indian summer. They would always share their
lunch and one of them would always bring a flask of delicious homemade aampanna with him.
Among the four of these history (and beverage!) enthusiasts, one comes from a far away land -
A land of bald eagles, of bowls that are super and of cars that are Nas. He is quickly taken to the
idea of commercializing this raw mango ale.

"I want to commercialize this raw mango ale", says the man from the far away, hitherto
unknown land. "Aye!" the remaining trio heartily agree. "Woof!" goes the company dog who
the narrator of this tale forgot to mention until now.
And thus began the journey of Paper Boat. A journey of going back in time and bringing to fore,
liquid traditions. Drinks, that the many civilizations of this subcontinent inspired. Drinks, that are
practical and delicious. Drinks, that are a product of generations of trial and error. Drinks, that
are sadly being lost to the excesses of urban life.

We hoped that Paper Boat, much like the Tagore poem, would send these drinks, these culinary
messages to those who have never tasted such concoctions. And of course to those, who long
for the days gone by. Of homemade Aamras, Jaljeera, Kokum, Aampanna, Kala Khatta and many
other secret recipes.
According to me the HCD approach of Paper boat company was simple "If you could make people taste memories, you should".

-Shruthi G Bhonsle
MY.SC.U3COM19121

Reliability is important, especially if traveling for business. Wherever there is an internet network; the portable wifi router will mimic the speed. Internet speeds are a principal feature for most users. Portable wifi routers currently on the market come with 3G, 4G, or 4G+ speeds. The most significant advantage of portable wifi is the freedom to check emails, update Facebook, or even surf the net regardless of where you are.
