Ch. 8 Discussion Question #2

Create a blog entry with your thoughts about medication therapy management. Do you think this program will find success in pharmacy? Why or why not?
Answer: I think a medication therapy management program could have a 50/50 chance on working. Pharmacists would be required to go to school for the proper training needed to provide this type of therapy. Some of the pharmacist might be willing to do so but other pharmacist might not want to continue education. Seems like you would need to have multiple pharmacists to be able to provide the basic services and therapy the clients need.
