William Lloyd Garrison and Fredrick Douglass are both abolitionists. They both did things to help the slave society like Douglass learned how to write and gave speeches to encourage slaves to do what he did and try and escape. He also tried to change the minds of the white. Garrison wrote newspapers at his newspaper company called the Liberal. He wrote mainly about how slavery needed to change. Douglass would shelter slaves for Harriet Tubman and Garrison created the American Anti Slave Society.
