How and Why did my Family come to the United States

Both of my great grandpa's were already working in the US. As time past on and they got enough money to move to the United States and start the American Dream. The wanted to move because it would help them find better jobs and easier for my grandparents to get to school or working with their parents.

What was going on in the U.S. during this time and did it affect my family

During 1950 - 1969 there was huge majors events like Koran War, Civil Rights movement, Rosa Parks story, Mathur Luther King Jr speech, and Neil Armstrong moon landing. There was a lot more events that happen but these events mostly did not effect but the Civil Rights movement might have done a little to their lives.

What were the obstacles that they met?

The only problems were the racism and getting a visa to get to states but sense the father's were already working there it was a little easier than usually.
