Throughout the session last week, we've been reflecting on how there is still light despite the fact that we have our personal struggles. The past two years have been a struggle to youths like us because we've been missing out on a lot of things, but we believe that this challenge has also made us adapt and made us stronger and more beautiful. Times like these are really uncertain and could take long, but even if the journey is long, it will take time to see that there's still a trail of light. Moving forward, our group agrees not only to see the light but also to be the light in engaging in more activities and communities so that we could also empower our fellow youths. Indeed, the youths of today's generation are truly gifted and have a lot of ideas within them that deserve to be heard and to be shown to the world. There are a lot of pressing issues that we've been experiencing not just in our personal lives but also in our country, and this mission of being the light becomes more relevant as we actively participate in the national elections. All these and all our decisions that we will make are supposed to be rooted on something, and as individuals of the Youth Christian Life Community, we are grounded in our spirituality. Our faith in God, His word, and our every day spiritual life serve as our guide in making rational decisions and in being the source of light most especially to the people in need.

We all have our own doubts within ourselves, but we learn from them through baby steps. Though the world is scary and dark, we can try to be the light in our world through our little ways. We may have our own doubts and imperfections, but we have to remember that everyone is not perfect. After all, God does not call the equipped, he equips the called. Moving towards this journey, we just need to take baby steps in educating ourselves and holding each other accountable especially when it comes to issues concerning us all (i.e. environmental crises and the upcoming elections).
