Hello, my name is Hunter Carlson. I am from Howell, Michigan and I am currently enrolled in the environmental science program at Washtenaw Community College. I currently work as a glazier meaning that I do a lot of custom glass work dealing with anything from windows, to shower enclosures, to mirrors. Pretty much anything that can have glass in it, I work with.

This is one of my best friends in the whole world, my dog Aaliyah. She is always up for an adventure and would follow me or my dad to the ends of the Earth. She's supposedly 1/8th wolf, but you wouldn't know by how kind and relaxed she typically is. This is a picture of her outside my family's cabin after she had a rough night dealing with the aftermath of chasing a porcupine that was in the yard.

For all of my life I've been accustomed to going on the Great Lakes fishing with my family. This picture is on a small inland lake, but I'm very comfortable on & in the water. Other than that, I love playing tennis and riding my bicycle. I also enjoying reading in my free time, playing piano & guitar, and singing. I own a couple other instruments like a xylophone and cornet that I enjoy messing around on. I would say music and photography are two of my biggest hobbies. If I had the patience for knitting I'd probably be all over it, alas I do not.

This is a polaroid of when I jumped off my uncle's sailboat over the summer into Lake Michigan. I have since turned this picture into a cyanotype in the fall in my Alternative Processes photography class. If you have any interest in learning about historic photographic techniques for developing photos I recommend that class! It is a blast.
