We need to skill kids up in different ways to ask questions.

It has a set approach (a cycle).

It is student-driven.

Students need background knowledge before launching into the cycle.

We need to help the creative process and not take over.

Inquire into the language itself.

The language of learning needs to be used constantly by both students and teachers.

Students need to be invited to show their thinking (make it visible)

Get rid of the word 'work', replace with the word 'learning'.

Our job is to grow our students' capacity to relate to each other.

There is risk involved!! Students (and teachers) don't need to always know the outcome.

Not all inquiry questions that students come up will be good ones.  We need to model appropriate questions.
