My name is Khairunissha binti kaharudin! (2419658) Student of Kulliyah Of Economics and managerial science .Im taking in business administration courses for degree. I was born in Hospital Kota Bharu, Kelantan. But being raised in Klang, Selangor. TAARUF SESSION:it’s more like a chill get-to-know-every person in the class session. The purpose of this session is to explore friendship or see if there’s potential for more but it’s not as formal. I still get to understand every person's character, values, and how they interact with others.

ADAB IN SEEKING KNOWLEDGE: In this session, we can learned the importance of Adab while seeking knowledge. Listened to a brief explanation of Prophet's wife Aisyah R.a Character, learned adab towards Allah and Prophet, the benefits of have an adab in our daily life and make al quran as a book of guidance for every muslim

Brief Summary:

Jibril comes to the Prophet ﷺ and asks him several questions in front of his companions:

1. What is Islam?
   The Prophet ﷺ defines Islam as the five pillars:

   • Shahada (testimony of faith)

   • Salah (prayer)

   • Zakah (almsgiving)

   • Sawm (fasting in Ramadan)

   • Hajj (pilgrimage to Mecca)

2. What is Iman (faith)?
   He defines Iman as belief in:

   • Allah

   • His angels

   • His books

   • His messengers

   • The Last Day

   • Qadar (divine decree), both good and bad

3. What is Ihsan (excellence)?
   The Prophet ﷺ says:
   “To worship Allah as if you see Him; and even though you do not see Him, know that He sees you.”

4. When is the Hour (Day of Judgment)?
   The Prophet replies: “The one questioned knows no more than the questioner.”

5. What are its signs?
   He mentions signs such as:

   • A slave woman giving birth to her master

   • Barefoot shepherds competing in building tall buildings

After Jibril leaves, the Prophet ﷺ tells his companions:
“That was Jibril. He came to teach you your religion.”

Core Beliefs:

• Allah exists, alone without partners.

• Tawheed (Oneness of Allah):

  • Rububiyyah: He alone is the Creator, Sustainer, and Ruler.

  • Uluhiyyah: He alone deserves worship.

  • Asma wa Sifat: He has perfect names and attributes, unlike His creation.

• Nothing is like Allah — He is unique, eternal, and all-powerful.

Practical Impact:

• Worship Allah sincerely.

• Rely on Him, fear Him, love Him, and obey His commands.

2. Belief in the Angels

Core Beliefs:

• Angels are created from light.

• They are obedient servants of Allah who do not sin.

• They do not have free will like humans and jinn.

Roles of Some Angels:

• Jibril (Gabriel) – Delivers revelation to prophets.

• Mikail (Michael) – Controls rain and sustenance.

• Israfil – Will blow the trumpet on Judgment Day.

• Malik – Guardian of Hell.

• Munkar and Nakir – Question the dead in the grave.

• Kiraman Katibin – Record people’s deeds.

Practical Impact:

• Reminds Muslims that they are always being watched.

• Encourages righteousness and sincerity.

3. Belief in the Kitab

Core Beliefs:

• Allah revealed divine scriptures to guide mankind.

• Muslims believe in all the original revealed books.

Main Books Mentioned in the Qur’an:

• Tawrah – Given to Nabi Musa

• Zabur – Given to Nabi Daud

• Injil – Given to Nabi Isa

• Suhuf – Given to Nabi Ibrahim

• Qur’an – Final revelation, given to Prophet Muhammad ﷺ

The Qur’an:

• Final, complete, and preserved guidance.

• Cancels and supersedes all previous scriptures.

Practical Impact:

• Muslims follow the Qur’an as the ultimate source of guidance.

• Respect previous books but do not follow their altered versions.

• A Nabi is a prophet chosen by Allah to guide his own people with an existing message or law.

• A Rasul is a messenger who is also a prophet, but he is given a new message or scripture and sent to a specific nation or to all of mankind.

Roles:

• Nabi:

  • Follows the previous Rasul’s message.

  • Guides people using existing laws.

  • Examples: Prophet Harun, Prophet Yahya.

• Rasul:

  • Given a new revelation or Shariah (law).

  • Sent to correct major misguidance or disbelief.

  • Examples: Prophet Musa with the Tawrah, Prophet Isa with the Injil, Prophet Muhammad ﷺ with the Qur’an.

Every Rasul is a Nabi, but not every Nabi is a Rasul.

Ihsan means doing everything with excellence and sincerity, especially in worship. It is to worship Allah as if you see Him, and even if you don’t see Him, know that He sees you. Ihsan is about being mindful of Allah at all times and doing good with pure intentions, not just outward actions.

Eschatology (Belief in the Afterlife):

Eschatology in Islam is the belief in what happens after death like the grave, resurrection, the Day of Judgement, Paradise, and Hell. It reminds Muslims that this life is temporary and that we will be held accountable for our actions in the Hereafter. This belief encourages people to live righteously and avoid sin.

In the Qur’an, right after commanding us to worship Him alone, Allah says:

“And be kind to parents...” (Surah Al-Isra, 17:23).
This shows how highly Allah values our treatment of parents.

Why We Must Have Adab Towards Our Parents:

• They Raised and Cared for Us:
  Our parents spent years caring for us with love, sacrifice, and patience especially our mothers, who went through pregnancy, childbirth, and sleepless nights.

• They Deserve Gratitude and Honor:
  Being respectful, speaking gently, and obeying them with kindness are ways to show gratitude for all they’ve done.

• Their Prayers Bring Blessings:
  A parent’s sincere du’a (prayer) for their child is powerful. Making them happy can lead to Allah’s mercy and success in both this world and the Hereafter.

Whenever we appreciate nature, its will make us had a deep sense of shukr in what Allah have give to us. Shukr in a parts of always saying 'Alhamdulillah' to every of Allah Creation, Avoid abusing nature and avoiding harming the animals. Even in a war, Muslim is prohibited to destroy nature..

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ gave a very clear instructions during war:

• “Do not cut down trees, do not destroy crops, do not kill animals except for food, and do not harm women, children, or the elderly.”

which indicate how appreciating nature and animals is very important to every muslims.

To always feel gratitude of what Allah had given to us is very important in order to create a sense of empathy for every creature that Allah had been create in this world, neither to every human, animals or plants. Allah also said in the quran:

"if you being grateful, he will approved it (redha) for you.."-Surah Az-Zumar

The hikmah of being gratefull for his creation is:

• Observing natural worlds helps us appreciate the blessing we often overlook such as clean air, food system and biodiversity.

• Gratitudes leads us to a healthier mindset and stronger faith.

• As Muslim, we should be gratefull for Allah creation, because when we stop being gratefull, We tend to waste, exploit and abuse nature.

Only that is my recommendation, as im said ealier,, the class is already an effective-fun-learning class. I can understand better in every topic that had been teach plus with the other usefull information from the Naqeebah and moreover with the fun activities that has been held. The class is perfect for night- relaxing class.
