This video was made by an author who was promoting a book he had written. He gives us an overhead view of all the creative designs. I enjoyed this short video because it shows the lines are still visible today. It is a phenomenon at how the Nazca culture was able to create the designs with so little technology.

No one can really understand why the Nazca Culture would create these designs. Some believe it was for religious reasons and others believe they tell a story. This website gives us some reasons why they might of created this special pieces of art and how they might of done it.I do not know if i agree with everything on the website, especially when they talk about religious reasons. I do not think these were created for a religious purpose
http://www.ancientsummit.com/the-intriguing-mysteries-of-nazca-lines-in-peru/

This article is the most credible one I found. This talks about the Nazca Culture and how the lines were created to tell a story or were for religious purposes. I am still very skeptical that the Nazca culture would do this for religious reasons but all of my sources mention that as a main reason. To me it seems strange but there really is not just one reason for them. It has been a mystery for a long time and I do not believe anyone will figure it out anytime soon.

http://science.nationalgeographic.com/science/archaeology/nasca-lines/

This website talks about how UFOs and aliens helped create the lines. I am very skeptical because I personally do not think Aliens are real. The way this piece was written also makes me skeptical because it seems very unofficial. However I did not rule out the idea fully until I did some research on the topic. After doing all my research I came to the conclusion that it was very unlikely Aliens helped created the Nazca lines.
http://ancientaliensdebunked.com/references-and-transcripts/nazca-lines/

1. What surprised me the most was how detailed the geoglyphs are. It is amazing to think the Nazca Culture could do this with so little technology.

2. I have always been interested in crop circles and how they were created. These lines are pretty much the same as crop circles just were created a long time before. They are paintings in the ground and have stayed for years and years.

3. The most interesting thing i found was how similar the creations were to real life things. The monkey looks just like one and the Condor looks just like a bird. It is almost like a portrait of these animals that was drawn into the ground.

4. The one thing i will always remember is how old the lines are. It is amazing that these could be kept it such good conditions for so long.
