The purpose of building the wall was to keep the western fascist from  entering the east Germany and undermining the socialist state of Germany. The wall of Berlin stood until November 9, 1989, when the head of east Germany  decided that the people could pass the wall whenever they wanted. And the barrier was like a Berlin wall but it was call 38th parallel that divided the North Korea and the South Korea. Ruby Bridges was a girl that had 6 year and she was an activist already that wanted no segregation in schools so she went to a white school. She was escorted by four agents since when she got to school people were telling her threads, since she was going to a white school. Ruby Bridges was alone for a year the only person who was with her was his teacher that played with her in lunch time. And once again one black person broke the barrier between black people and white people and this was a huge thing since she desegregate that school and made 16 states do the same desegregate schools. I think that mean that if they are violent with you don't response violence with violence.  Like the time the police arrested kids and they were happy because they were contributing to the African American  movement and I think the kids were not happy. But I think that they needed to do that because of segregation and to end it.
